We have been itching to have more apparel on our site and have been searching for a great partner since early summer. We were looking for a company with similar values who believe that the products should be great quality but not come at the cost of losing style. I was nearly ready to start importing from Europe, which makes for very high retail prices after duties and taxes when I came across Devon’s Drawer.
New baby apparel partner, Devon’s Drawer
Devon’s Drawer are a mother-daughter team based between Vancouver and LA. They believe that all products should be of heirloom quality and built to last for many generations. They are also using ethical and environmentally responsible production practices to make sure they improve people’s lives.
Materials and labour are sourced as locally as possible and each piece of clothing is made from start to finish within a two-mile radius from downtown LA. I love that this team is so involved with their production from start to finish and put great care into their products.
Their goal is to inspire people to buy less and better quality, which I love!
We are launching a selection of their winter range on Aston Baby new arrivals on Monday, November 7th at 9pm. We couldn’t help pairing their gorgeous dresses, tops and jackets with our Shaughnessy Shoe, which made for a classicly beautiful combination, you can check out some sneak peaks on our Aston Baby Instagram.
We will always aim to move our entire range forward to make it better, test new things and find hidden gems for babies. That is the best part of the job! We will also continue to work with our other ethical apparel suppliers Jax and Lennon, who provide the best basics for babies. As well as Les Petite Darlings, whose custom prints are the best and are ethically made in the USA.
